I’m proud that I’ve been a team lead for 31 Miles for 31 Heroes (charity) for 10 years. Setting PRs after 14 years doesn’t happen often but I can still deadlift 500 so that’s a plus!

About Coach

I began my CrossFit journey while deployed to Iraq in 2007. CrossFit literally saved my life when I was injured in an IED blast while on patrol, so I know this sport’s worth in gold. I’ve been a coach since early 2010 and it’s helped me continue to use my leadership skills from the military to help people become the best version of them they can be. I’ve played soccer at all levels and love the beautiful game and still enjoy watching it whenever I can.

Turning Point

My turning point was after my injuries in 2007. I had a choice; do nothing and live an unhealthy life and let my injuries win or fight to get back all that I lost physically. Here I am 14 years later in the best shape of my life both mentally and physically.

Motivation & Passion

I coach because I love watching the “lightbulb” turn on for people. Getting that complex lift, setting a PR, watching athletes come in here walking with their heads held high…that’s what this is all about.
